Welcome, welcome, one and all!  The Dark Horse Courier is a blog about Christianity.  Probably best termed apologetics, the main goal of the DHC is to discuss the multitude of misunderstandings the world at large has about Christians, the Bible, and what Christianity is really about.  Also on the agenda are those tricky questions everyone is fond of asking Christians, in addition to the things commonly regarded as contradictions in Christianity and the Bible.  The site is not just aimed at non-believers though.  Not only is the purpose to better help non-believers understand Christianity, but also for Christians to explore and better discern the many facets of their own faith.  Here you might also find news, tidbits, and other interesting things among the posts.

And the author…?

As for me, I don’t do well with biographical questions.  I’m interested in almost everything, and am always open to learning new things.  I also love debate, so if you have any questions about the blog or Christianity in general feel free to send me an email.  There are a lot of passages in the Bible that I like, though one in particular that I think captures the very essence of Christianity.

“Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

-Matthew 22:36-40
